Tina Phan started in the mortgage industry during the meltdown, right after graduating from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a double major in Economics and Visual Arts. Since then, Tina has held many compliance roles in the financial service sector to include risk, and health care.
Tina enjoys underwriting, cost accounting, and big data. She is also big on DIY (do it yourself) and is known to take DIY challenges very seriously. She believes that challenges are just a matter of understanding the techniques and methods behind things.
